3/17 Great Spring like weather while Bill Collector was hauled for maintenance.  Just as soon as we tried to start fishing old Mother Nature has not been kind.   Our first few trips have been rescheduled due to weather. Its early Spring and we expect to have to deal with wind, but days between fronts are good fishing!  Today we were finally able to go,  weather and water conditions were good.  Bill Collector had a mechanical issue, which forced us home early.  Bill Collector has missed very few days over the years due to mechanical, but it is a boat and crap happens.  Unfortunately we missed a good day, but the issue was addressed and corrected promptly.  ( Many thanks to Bruce and Western Branch Diesel)
There were three other boats out yesterday.  They reported good catches,  nice Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo action! Talking with a couple  Captains yesterday evening, sounded like fishing was damn good!  Unfortunately, another frontal passage has forced us to cancel this weekend.  Hopefully we will be back out on our next trip mid-week.

Spring is time for Tuna and we have prime dates available!  Late March and April! Come fill your freezer. www.billcollectorcharters.com
