8/28 and past couple of days:  Calm seas and beautiful weather on the Crystal Coast!  We have had to deal with a push of hot blue water and full moon the past few days.  The Wahoo bite slowed the past couple days, but we are scraping a few nice ones.  The bottom dwellers are liking the heat, moon and no current, they have been chewing.  Plenty of Triggers!   We have another big cool water eddy pushing up and the Wahoo and Tuna will be snapping.  Weather has been great, best of the season.  Bill Collector open next Tuesday through Thursday,  these are the only open dates in Sept, round up a crew and lets go fishing!  Forecast next week looks great.

8/22 and past few days:  Sorry for the delay in reports,  we have been rolling and got behind.
Over the past ten days we have seen Wahoo, Sails and Dolphin offshore. A double half day last week with plenty of Spanish!  Couple of big NC Citation Wahoo last week!  We made a quick trip to OI for a few days of Marlin fishing, weather got us on two of our four days there.  We did manage 2 for 3 on Whites Tuesday.  Trip back down sound Wednesday and Bill Collector back at home on the MC Waterfront.  She is back offshore Friday.  Prime Wahoo season arriving and we have dates available.
Bill collector open next Monday and Wednesday, also Labor Day Monday Sept 3rd, only four dates left open in Sept 3rd through 6th!   Round up a crew and go fishing!

8/10 and past few days.  This past week has seen two slick calm days and couple of very choppy ones.  Inshore the Spanish have been biting on the 1/2 days and offshore has been a mix of Wahoo, Dolphin and some good Trigger fishing.  The last couple of days things had slowed down with just a few bites,  but the forecast is good and the water should change around the next 24hrs.  Good fishing ahead!  Prime Fall dates still available, check them out at www.billcollectorcharters.com

8/1 and past few days: We have still been plagued with a frontal trough laying across out waters.  We were out Sunday, despite rumors, we only charter out, but we managed a catch despite squally conditions. We had several Wahoo bites in the PM, but they would not stay glued. Our day ended with 3 Wahoo, king, two Gafffers , Blackfin and a Sail.  Monday we had Lee and crew out for some good Trigger action, trolling was slow, we had a Gaffer and Wahoo.  Then the squalls ran us home. Today, despite a bumpy ride out we found 5 Wahoo, couple Dolphin and a king.  Weather conditions are finally improving today through the weekend.  Extended forecast looks great!  Bill Collector open Monday, Tuesday next week.  Lets go fishing.
