7/28 and 7/27  High SW winds, surf and bad squalls have plagued eastern NC since last Saturday.  The fleet offshore fleet sat to the dock for five straight days.  Friday the winds and seas fell out and we were able to get back at it.  Friday we caught some nice Gaffer Dolphin,  today was the Wahoo bite was better.  Our day ended with seven Wahoo and a big Gaffer.  Lots of Wahoo bites today.  Looks like good summer weather ahead!

7/21 DU Billfish Tournament,  Thursday through Saturday; fish 2 out of 3 days.  Due to weather conditions forecast for Saturday most boats fished Thursday, Friday.  Thursday we saw 3 Sails, caught 2 and Saturday we caught 2 more.  Bill Collector with Team Dyer onboard finished second overall behind The General with Looking Back in third.  Congrats to all the other winners!

7/11-12  After a good 1/2 day on Sunday we stayed to the dock a couple of days due to weather.  Back out Wednesday with Richard and crew for two days.  Wednesday his group had plenty of Bailer Dolphin on light tackle and a 45 pound Wahoo!  Today they had a good catch of Blackfin Tuna, four Wahoo, couple of Gaffer Dolphin and a Sail!

7/9 - 7/5  High NE winds and seas will keep us in today and Tuesday, weather is forecast to greatly improve by Wednesday. Yesterday we changed up our day to inshore and stayed tight to the beach.  The Spanish were chewing with 69 by 11AM.  Saturday, the weather deteriorated much faster than had be forecast forcing all of the fleet to cut the day very short.  Two days prior, we were enjoying good Dolphin action.  Bill Collector has prime summer dates to get the family out before school starts back!  Availability at www.billcollectorcharters.com

7/4 and past few days:  Every day has been different , however we have a Bermuda High centered over the coast and weather has been beautiful all week.  Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, and some Whites and Sails showing up.  Spainsh on the half day.
