8/29-30  Bright full moon and choppy this past Saturday.  Fishing was alot slower the last two days, several Wahoo bites we could not hold onto, but fun still had by all!

8/25  Yesterday and today the weather was as good as it gets!  Beautiful and calm!  Yesterday we spent most of the day in the deep looking a Marlin.  We had the same great couple out earlier and they had plenty of meat.  Monday was spent looking a Blue, but the Marlin did not cooperate.  We did scrap up enough meat for the freezer. Floar Plan spent the day on the break and had a good box of Wahoo!  Today we fished a beautiful change from the Big Rock out to the east for thirteen miles.  Great conditions, but it was not holding.  Our day ended with four Wahoo, two Gaffer Dolphin and two Bailers.  Capt. Big Country on Sensation  found the Wahoos and ended his day with a box full!  Great Crystal Coast weather and fun had by all!

8/23 Yesterday weather choped up a bit and fishing was slower for the fleet.  We ended our day with three nice Wahoo,Gaffer Dolphin, another Citation Blackfin Tuna and a Sail!  Bill Collector open Friday, Forecast looks great! 252-247-5617

8/21  Great Wahoo action today, 10 Wahoo, a nice Gaffer and a Citation Blackfin Tuna!  After a good bite Wednesday, things were slower yesterday.  we had five Wahoo  bite out of nine bites by 10:00 AM, the they shut off, a couple of Dolphin.  We did have a couple of nice ones a 48 LB and a 41LB.  Back out tomorrow.

8/18 Great fishing on the Crystal Coast!  Our good friend Abe and friends had a good day of action! One for three on Sails, nine Wahoo ( a 39,47 and 53 LB), one Blackfin and a limit of Dolphin! Fun had by all.

8/12 A beautiful day on the ocean!  Our water conditions had changed overnight, Wahoo action alittle slower than earlier this week.  We were four for eight on Wahoo bites, nice grade of fish, and a good mess of Bailer Dolphin!  Bill Collector was open, but our dock partners Sensation and Dancin Outlaw fished.  They both returned with good Wahoo catches.  Bill Collector just became available for Aug 23rd Sunday, also the 31st is open. Round up a crew and enjoy some great Crystal Coast fishing!

8/10  Good Crystal Coast fishing and calm seas.  Our day ended with 10 Wahoo, a Yellowfin, big Blackfin, two kings.  For Citations, 44LB Wahoo, 40 and 30 LB Kings and a 24 LB Blackfin.  Fun had by all!  Our great Fall fishery is almost here, the Wahoo will be snapping!  Prime dates open!

8/9  After a beautiful day yesterday or 3/4 of one, it blew up NW 20-25, weather man wrong in afternoon.   Forecast for this AM was 20 knts.....but today was a great example of don't trust the government(NOAA).  15 knts and slight swells this AM, a standard issue NE wind and a good day of fishing.  A good number of Wahoo bites, only held onto eight of them.  A good day on  the Big Rock!

Back out tomorrow, open Tuesday!

8/5-6  Mother Nature has not been so kind the first part of the week.  A low pressure system kept the fleet at the dock Monday and Tuesday.  Winds and seas subsided by Wednesday afternoon.  Bill Collector took a group of young anglers for an afternoon half day.  Water conditions were a little muddy from the blow, but we found some Spanish, including this nice 7 LB. NC Citation.  Bill Collector, Dancin Outlaw and Sensation finally got back offshore yesterday.  Good Wahoo action, some Blackfin and Yellowfin also.   Bill Collector is OPEN this Tuesday Aug 11th, forecast looks great!  For all availability for August and Fall dates check out www.billcollectorcharters.com.

7/31-8/3  Wahoo bite this past Friday, couple of Blackfin!  Saturday had choppy weather and slower fishing, we scraped out a catch. Sunday, Bill Collector had the Carrington family out for some inshore fishing.  Spanish fishing was slow, but we managed a few and a King for the kids.  Fun had by all and great views of Cape Lookouts east beach.  Squalls and high winds kept us onshore today, hope to be back out tomorrow.  August date available before school starts back.  Good time to get the family fishing!
