1/21/15  This winter has seen more Blue Fin Tuna than in the last few years.  A few boats have done well commercially, a few have done OK and some have yet to land one.  The fish have been big ones, with a 1004 LB landed last week by the Fish Bucket.  There haven been a few days with several bites, a lot of days with lots of boats and few fish.  We will see if the fishing continues or fades off going into next month. Bill Collector heads to Jarrett Bay Boat Works this morning for her seasonale maintenance.  She will splash hopefully by mid to late February.  Bill Collector will be ready to chase early Spring Yellowfin or some BFT if they are still around.   Offshore Report:  Not many have venture to the Gulf Stream over the last few weeks.  The few that have, report some Blackfin Tuna, big Wahoo and Kings....Early Spring Fishing :  Popular months like May and June are booking up, but don't forget get about our great fishing in March and early April!  This is a great time to chase Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, also big Spring Wahoo.  Last season saw some of our biggest Citation Wahoo caught in March and April.  Also last year our Blue Marlin showed early with several being caught in April!....NEW FOR 2015:  Bill Collector will be introducing a new T-shirt design ( we will have the popular old one as well).  Also new styles of apparel,  look for it to be available on our web site by this Spring!  Now booking for 2015, prime dates available!  252-247-5617   www.billcollectorcharters.com
