12/8/14  Bluefin Tuna action since last Tuesday has been spotty.  There was a lot more effort by fleet from mid week through Saturday.  The BFT bite was slower than earlier in week, however there were enough bites to keep it interesting  Even with the bite a little slower the class of fish that have been taken are good size..  Several fish over the 100 inch mark last week!  The weather has got us the last two days, looks like it will break by Tuesday.  Saturday was the last the BFT fleet was out. The only bite for Bill Collector was this nice Blackfin Tuna .  The few fish caught Saturday were good ones. Capt. Brian (Goombay) boated a nice 110 inch fish early.  Our dock partner, Sensation, made the day offshore and reported several December Mahi, a nice Wahoo and a Sail. There is also  good King fishing happening this month.  Bill Collector is available for BFT, Offshore or King charters through December. 12//3/14  A few Bluefin Tuna have shown up of Cape Lookout this past week.  Several big BFT over the 100 inch mark have been caught by the fleet.  Bill Collector was lucky enough to catch this 520LB dresser on Wed.  Bite was a little slower today, lots of fog today.  NE wind Thursday, a lot of boats taking day off, Bill Collector back out tomorrow.  We have dates open this month for BFT and Gulf stream fishing!  Come and enjoy the winter fishery.  Bill Collector now taking reservation for our 2015 season.  A FISHING TRIP MAKES A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT! Happy Thanksgiving!  There has not been an offshore report since our last.  None of the charter fleet has gotten out the last few days.  Bill collector crew has been catching up on some seasonal maintenance and maybe a little hunting.  Some of the boats are booked this weekend and a few private boats are planning to fish weather permitting.  Hopefully we will have something to reort after the weekend.  At this time our next day out is Dec 3rd.  Cold fronts and low pressure systems make it harder for us to get out late season, however between these fronts we will have periods of slick calm seas.  Past Decembers have provided great Wahoo and Tuna action!.. 11/16 Another Blue Marlin for Larry and crew this season!  Meat fishing was slower with the SE wind, but the Marlin made the day!  Larry did an excellent job angling the fish on fifty pound tackle.  It was his second Blue on Bill Collector this season.   Fun had by all!  Congrats Larry!

11/14/14  Sorry for the delay in reports,  fished a couple of days 11/8 and 11/9 since last report...Weather has forced us to cancel a couple of other bookings. 11/8 we had our good friends James and Bo, water conditions were not that favorable for Wahoo, we did mange a nice catch of Triggers and Bliners and a big Wahoo.  Fun Had by all!  Brad and friends were out on the 9th, weather was choppy, we managed four Kings, couple Wahoo, two Blackfin, AJ Barracuda.  A scrap in not favorable conditions, a salty crew and all had a large time!  A couple of pretty days this week between fronts, but the fleet has not been out.  Bill Collector sails again Sunday, I hope to have a good report.  Dates open for late season fishing, Bill Collector will be running regular gulfstream  trips through December!  Also our 2015 Calendar is now available  online and we are already taking reservations.

11/7/14  Bill Collector was blown out this past weekend.  We were open this week, back out tomorrow.  The few boats that have been king fishing are having good catches!  Capt. Rocky Hardison did get offshore this Wednesday and returned with a good catch of Wahoo.  Several Citation  class!  Bill Collector is back out tomorrow and Sunday.  November, December dates available!  We are also now taken 2015 reservations.  Online Calendar viewable www.billcollectorcharters.com

11/2/14  A big low pressure system forced us to cancel trips this weekend.  Our next day out will be the 8th.  Bill Collector open all week, forecast TUE and WED  slick calm!
