4/26 Good fishing today for the two of us that went. The Yellowfin ,nice Blackfin were snapping! A few Dolphin and Wahoo also. Yesterday was the first slick calm day in awhile, however fishing was slow. Lots of boats, sounded like the fleet scraped out their day. Earlier in the week the fleet has been dealing with choppy seas, but every day we were able to find some fish! Weather looks good the rest of week and hopefully good fishing!

4/19 Mother Nature has been pissed off at eastern NC this Spring. A seven day siege of strong NE wind has finally subsided and we got out today. Our hardy crew stuck out the choppy conditions, lots of left over swell. At the end of our day we had four Wahoo and some Blackfin Tuna. The couple of other boats out today reported some Yellowfin , Blacfin and Wahoo as well as a few Kings. Winds came right back up and we postponed our trip for Wednesday. Finally a good forecast for rest of week and hopefully we have reports of good weather and fishing.

4/10 and 11 Choppy yesterday in AM, but winds fell out quickly. Our salty crew toughed out the morning to end with a beautiful day and some nice fish! Our day had four big Wahoo (62,41,40 and 38 LB) several Dolphin and a Blackfin! Today seas were flat and weather beautiful! Whaoo action was slower, but the Blackfin Tuna went to chewing! Our box was almost full of Blackfin and one nice Wahoo for the day. Prime Spring and Summer dates available! 252-247-5617

4/8 Fishing and weather update: Mother Nature has not been kind the last ten days. Frontal passages and high winds forced us to cancel last weekends trips. Winds subsided by Monday and it was the only fishable day this past week. Unfortunately Bill Collector was open. There was good action for the few boats that fished. Island Girl captured the first Blue Marlin out of Morehead City this season! Congrats! There was good Wahoo and Tuna action reported as well. Winds were back up by Tuesday and it has blown all week. Gale force winds have once again forced us to cancel today and Saturday, looks like we will finally get back out maybe Sunday, Monday. Our Spring fishing has been great, but weather has not been kind. Hopefully we are going to get a break for the second half of April. Like I said fishing has been good and we will get a good stretch of Spring weather! Prime dates available! TIME TO FILL YOUR FREEZER! 252-247-5617

3/30 We had a great group of fathers and sons out today! Mother nature must not have listened to the NOAA forecast. Was not as calm as forecast, but very fishable. East, Southeast wind and lots of current slowed the fishing. We did manage a few Wahoo , one 66LB and a 50LB! Prime Spring dates available.
