12/4  Today we had our good friend Capt. Jerry from San Diego CA aboard.  Capt Jerry and his father (Pops) have fished with us many years.  Today Jerry and several of Pops friends celebrated Pops life with placing his ashes in the Blue Gulfstream. Jerry and friends went on to have a good day on the water.  Plenty of nice Triggers, Blackfin Tuna and a Wahoo.

11/27/16  Yesterday was a little choppy NE, but our salty crew was ready to go fishing!  We fished our way to the NE all day just incase the weatherman was wrong.  The morning was very slow, then we found a nice current edge around lunch catching some Dolphin, couple of Blackfin and a Wahoo.  Weather defiantly effected our fishing, but at the end of the day fun had by all!

Giant Bluefin Tuna: A couple of Bluefin have been caught this past week by recreational anglers!  Several places of BFT have been sighted off Cape Lookout as well!  The Commercial season for BFT is Closed at this time.  What does this mean for recreational angling?  It means your chance at catching one of these giants is better due to a lot less pressure on the fish!  Recreational bag limits are still open at this time, but this is predominantly a catch and release fishery.  If you have ever wanted to angel one of these giants now is the time.  Give us a call for info on Giant BFT fishing!  252-247-5617

11/19  Nice Wahoos  today for Dennis and his crew!  Although the current was screaming we were able to mange 5 out of 7 Wahoo bites today.  Biggest was 48 LB!  Couple nice Blackfin Tuna and some November Dolphin.  Fun had by all!  Dates open this week into December.  We are now taking 2017 reservations.  www.billcollectorcharters.com

 10/26 through 30  Another good stretch of Fall weather!  Fishing was slower last Wednesday, we managed to scrap out a few nice fish.  Thursday things picked back up with a good catch of Wahoo for Clyde and crew!  The last few days saw several NC Citation size Wahoo, (42,43,40 and a 67).  Also several Sailfish encounters for the fleet this week! Still a mix of Blackfin and Dolphin.  NE winds kept us in today.  Bill Collector scheduled back out Thursday, open Wednesday and forecast is great!  Round up a crew! 252-247-5617

10/16 and 17 More Yellowfin action yesterday, with a good mixed bag and a Sail.  Today we had a couple of honeymooners out for a beautiful day on the ocean!  The Tunas did not participate like they had the previous two days, but we scraped out a mixed bag of Wahoo, Blackfin and Dolphin.  Fun had by all!  Great Fall weather on the Crystal Coast!

10/15  Bill Collector finally back offshore today after Matthew!  First day the charter fleet has gotten out after hurricane Matthew.  Fishing and weather was good before the storm shut us down.  Good Tuna action for the small fleet today, Bill Collector ended her day with 14 Yellowfin and several Blackfin.  We struggled hanging onto them today pulling off several Tunas as well as a couple Sails, but at days end plenty of meat.  Forecast looks good rest of the week!

9/21  We got back out Tuesday after remnants of  Julia got us again on Monday, She is finally gone!  Bill Collector back offshore Tuesday with our good friend Terry  and pals.  Weather was beautiful with a good catch.  Six Wahoo, couple Yellowfin, some Blackfin, Dolphin and 2 for 3 on Sails.  Today Bill Collector had an inshore 3/4, weather was slick calm and we found a few kings.  A great day to be on the water!  Back offshore tomorrow!  Prime Fall dates available, come go fishing!

9/18/19 Still dealing with swell from Julia,  bouncy ride out but plenty fishable!  A Mix of Yellowfin Blackfin, Dolphin and couple of nice Wahoo!  Also are really nice Blue Marlin released after an 1hr 20 min fight.  Yesterday the high SE wind and swell from Julia kept us inshore.  A nice morning spent catching Spanish along the beach.  Julia comes back at us again today and hopefully will be out of the area by tonight.  Bill Collector back out tomorrow.  Prime  fall dates available OCT and NOV.  Wahoo and Tuna action will be peaking!  Come fill the freezer!   252-247-5617

9/2 here are a few pics from the last few days of Wahoo action.  8/31 we got em good ahead of the front, slick calm and great weather.  10 out of 20 or so bites.  Nice class of wahoo.  We had a great crew out yesterday for a bachelors party.  SE swell had started building as well as squalls and fishing defiantly reflected it, we scraped out four nice Wahoo a blackfin and Bonita.  Several Wahoo bites, but could not hang onto them.  Tropical storm Hermine has us temporarily to the dock through maybe Sunday.  Great forecast Monday through rest of week.  BILL COLLECTOR is AVAIABLE both Monday and Tuesday!  These are our only two dates this month, fishing can be very good after a storm passes. FALL fishing: OCT into DEC for great big Wahoo action, Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna will make another showing!   Big Fall Sails OCT also.  Inshore the King Mackerel action starts to peak!  APPARAL:  Hunting season not far off and we have more BC camo Truckers caps on the way.  Get yours while they last, we sold out before end of October last year.

8/21 and 24  Sunday we ha our good friend Wayne Bachelor and family out for a day on the Gulfstream.  Fishing was scrappy, but we managed a few nice Wahoo and Blackfin.  Good weather and fun had by all.  Bill Collector had a couple of scheduled engine maintenance days off and was back out this Wednesday.  Wahoo were chewing with fourteen nice fish and coolers full for our charter.

8/20/16 Bill Collector has spent the last week fishing the Alice Kelly Tournament and the PCBT Tournament at OI.  We also charter fished all our two lay days and the PCBT Lay Day Tournament. We had good marlin action all week, catch three Blue Marlin several Sails and Whites during the week.  We had a Grand Slam on Thursday with an extra Sail on our lay day, but won the Lay Day Tournament.  At weeks end I think we finished up around 18th out of 72 boats.  A well run event and Bill Collector is planning on being back next year!

8/13  Sorry for the delay in reports, We have have been rolling daily, here is a short synopsis of the past weeks fishing.  We have had to deal with some very hot water and current again this week and it defiantly slowed things down.  We have scraped along with Wahoos, a few Dolphin and some Sailfish action.  Some nice big Triggers the past week also.  The current fell out yesterday, winds clocked to the SW and the Wahoo started back biting.   Fall is prime Wahoo time and we have dates available.  www.billcollectorcharters.com
