3/25 Yesterday we were able to get out between fronts. NE 20 in AM subsided to 10 to 15knts by mid morning then came SE. We had a salty and hardy crew, weather was not great, but plenty fishable. We made our day around the Big Rock, scraping a catch of meat. Four Wahoo, three Blackfin, AJS and a Dolphin. The Peggy ( Capt Mike Guthrie) fish yesterday as well and reported some Wahoo and Dolphin. We had several Wahoo bites right out of the gate, but when the wind switched SE the fishing slowed. Despite the conditions our charter left with coolers full! We have postponed our trip for today. Winds back to Gale the next 48 hours. The extended forecast looks good after this frontal passage, Bill Collector is available next week!
We are a for-hire sportfishing charter boat located at The Big Rock Landing on the Morehead City Waterfront. For more info or to book a trip, please call (252) 247-5617 or e-mail us at info@billcollectorcharters.com www.billcollectorcharters.com

3/23 Bill Collector is available Easter weekend! We do finally have a fishing report. A couple of private boats fished this past weekend and reported fair Wahoo action. Dock rumor is the Sea Striker had 100LB Whopper Wahoo! Hopefully a few of us will get out this week, weather permitting. Bill Collector is scheduled to fish Wednesday and Thursday this week. We have this weekend and Easter weekend available, also dates open during Spring Break.

3/16/15 Bill collector is finally back in her slip! Cold damp weather forced us to delay some scheduled boat yard maintenance, but all is now complete. Bill Collector is ready to fish! We have availability for early Spring fishing! March and April are traditionally good Tuna months. Last season saw an abundance of Gaffer Dolphin and good showing of Blue Marlin in April! Give us a call and fill your freezer.
I have not had a fishing report to post for the Bill Collector since we have been doing maintenance. Most of the other charter fleet has been or is still in the yard. The Winter weather has finally left us and warmer temps have arrived. Great weather forecast this week with a high of 80 tomorrow. Satellite imagery is showing great water condition from the Big Rock south. Hopefully someone will get out this week. Bill Collectors first scheduled trip is the 26th, hopefully we will have a good report or maybe one sooner.
MAKE-UP TRIP Saturday March 28th is still open and we are going to put together a make up if there is enough interest. If interested in getting out on this or being added to our list for future make ups, give us a call or e-mail. 252-247-5617
