8/16 Bill Collector just back from Oregon Inlet fishing the Pirates Cove Big Game Tournament and the Alice Kelly Ladies Tournament. The Ladies event last Sunday was a great success for a good cause. There were several Marlin caught during the one day event, however they eluded us. We did manage a few Dolphin to entertain our Lady anglers. Our charter for the week fished a regular charter day before the main tournament start on Tuesday. Our fishing luck changed and our day ended with four White Marlin releases and several Dolphin one a 41 pounder. Young Logan Dyer captured his first White Marlin and the 41 pound Dolphin, a great day for a cool kid. Congrats Logan! Bill Collector took a Lay Day the First Day of the tournament and participated in the Lay Day Tournament with in a Tournament event. Weather was crappy but we managed two Whites to win the event. Wednesday we fished our first day of PCBGT to capture a 34 pound Wahoo and two White releases. At the end of the we had captured five Whites durring the tournament and our Wahoo held on to first place Wahoo. Our charter may not have been in the big money, but fun had by all. Bill Collector back at home and back out tomorrow.

8/3/14 The weather has not been kind this past weekend. A stalled front and area of low pressure has been stationary , with lots of rain and embedded thunderstorms. Friday and Saturday Bill Collector turned around due to bad Thunderstorms. Winds subsided and we were able to get out Sunday. We had a salty charter and managed seven Wahoo and a White Marlin despite the weather. Bill Collector was out Thursday before the front arrived and our group enjoyed a good day of mixed bag fishing! Weather forecast from Tuesday on looking a lot better. Hopefully back to normal great summer weather and fishing by mid week. Bill Collectors Fall e- letter going out this week, if you would like to sign up, you can do so on our website www.billcollectorcharters.com or on our Face Book page.
