3/25  Great crews the last two days!  It was good to get back out.  Beautiful both days!  Yesterday we scraped out a day, four nice Wahoo, two Blackfin and a AJ, pulled off a few more.  Fishing was slow, water conditions were good, very little bait.  A slow day, but beautiful day on the ocean!  Today the Wahoo were still being mean, pulled off several of the aggravating rascals, but held onto five nice ones, a Yellowfin, four Blackfin and a Sail! Fun had by all!

3/17 Great Spring like weather while Bill Collector was hauled for maintenance.  Just as soon as we tried to start fishing old Mother Nature has not been kind.   Our first few trips have been rescheduled due to weather. Its early Spring and we expect to have to deal with wind, but days between fronts are good fishing!  Today we were finally able to go,  weather and water conditions were good.  Bill Collector had a mechanical issue, which forced us home early.  Bill Collector has missed very few days over the years due to mechanical, but it is a boat and crap happens.  Unfortunately we missed a good day, but the issue was addressed and corrected promptly.  ( Many thanks to Bruce and Western Branch Diesel)
There were three other boats out yesterday.  They reported good catches,  nice Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo action! Talking with a couple  Captains yesterday evening, sounded like fishing was damn good!  Unfortunately, another frontal passage has forced us to cancel this weekend.  Hopefully we will be back out on our next trip mid-week.

Spring is time for Tuna and we have prime dates available!  Late March and April! Come fill your freezer. www.billcollectorcharters.com

3/2/17 Bill Collector back on waterfront...We ran into some unexpected mechanical issues, which delayed us being operational.  Thanks to Western Branch Deisel and Performance Marine, Bill Collector is ready to go fishing!  She is ship shape and ready to fill her fish box!
Fishing Report:  As for now none of the charter fleet has sailed since January, most are in Yard or just getting back overboard.  We have had some great weather and water conditions offshore this past month and a few private boats have been getting offshore.  Good reports of Wahoo and Blackfin and Yellowfin Tuna!

Bill Collector is ready to go, so round up a crew and give us a call!  Also we are still available for the Hatteras Grand Slam Tournament in July.  This is a great event for family or clients.  Good time, good friendship, good food and great fishing.  Give me a call if interested.  252-247-5617
